Friends of the Library was established in 1996 and is a voluntary, non-profit 501(c)3 organization whose purpose is to promote and foster an informed interest in the library and its services throughout the local community.
FOL helps fund summer reading programs, sponsor special library events, purchase special needs and/or equipment through book sales, and donations. All proceeds from our sales go to library services and programs. FOL members can volunteer their time or talent in various ways, decorating a display case, organizing the book sale, setting up special displays or planning other activities.
Membership applications are accepted throughout the year, but dues are collected every January.

The General Membership meeting of FOL is held each February and appointments to the Board of Directors and Bylaws review is conducted at that time. The Board of Directors have quarterly business meetings.
