The animal control department's responsibility is to enforce the animal related codes of the City of Perkins.  This department is run by one full-time Animal Control Officer and one part-time Animal Control Officer.  The Animal Control Department works closely with the Chief of Police

Perkins Area Animal Assistance, Inc.
The Animal Control Department works with Perkins Animal Assistance, Inc   who is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, more specifically to promote the health and welfare of companion and homeless animals through education, spay/neuter assistance and reducing the number of homeless animals.
