| We are happy to report that we have recently upgraded our out-dated and damaged microfilm reader with a new microfilm scanner / printer. The new equipment was purchased with funding from a "Threats to your collection" grant, which provided $900 from Oklahoma Department of Libraries/Oklahoma Historical Records Advisory Board, with funding from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission. An additional $600 came from donations to the Bob Evans memorial, and the remainder was paid with general donations to the Library.
- A microfilm reader is available for public use. Printing is $0.25/page.
The microfilm collection includes Perkins area newspapers dating from the 1890's to present. - The library can conduct research by request - read our Research Policy.
- Local genealogy experts offer various classes and one-on-one assistance free of charge - call the library for more information.
