 Utility Department

The City of Perkins provides water and sewer services to its residents.  Trash services are contracted through Allied Waste.

To start new service, bring two valid forms of identification (as defined by the I-9 form) into City Hall at 110 N Main, fill out an application and pay the deposit.  You will also need proof of the property address, such as your lease agreement or deed.

Deposit requirements are $100 for renters and $50 for owners.  In addition, there is a $25 service fee for initiating or transferring service.

If you have any questions, please contact the Utility Billing Clerk at (405) 547-2445 or by email utilitydept@cityofperkins.net.

                            City of Perkins Utility FAQ

Utility bills are mailed out on the last Wednesday of each month and payment is due twelve days later on a Monday. A 10% penalty is applied to all accounts not paid in full on the day after the due date.  Disconnect notices are mailed out two days after the due date.  Service is disconnected to any residence that does not make payment in accordance with that notice. A $15.00 service fee will be assessed to the account at the time of disconnection.
