2021 City of Perkins Citizen Survey
At the February 9, 2021, regular meeting of the City Commission, Ward 2 Commissioner Autumn Focht moved to direct staff to create a citizen survey requesting input for prioritizing capital projects for the City Commission's review at the March meeting. The motion was seconded and carried.
City staff drafted a survey, which was unanimously approved at the regular meeting of the City Commission on March 9, 2021.
Approximately 1,400 surveys were then mailed on March 12, 2021, to all active residential and commercial utility accounts within city limits. The deadline to return the survey was March 31, 2021. Responses received by mail and/or drop boxes at various locations totaled 327.
Based on the scoring system 0 = Not Important to 5 = Very Important, scores for each of the 17 categories were tabulated.
