[ARCHIVED] Water Tower Photo Contest - Congratulations Kara Hall!

In fall of 2016, the City of Perkins Main Street water tower was rehabilitated, through funding provided by a general obligation bond in the amount of $1.285 million approved by an election on April 5, 2016.

The water tower has been a symbol of Perkins since its construction in 1912, when bonds were approved in an election "to build a modern water system with water mains to supply the whole town."*

The rehabilitation was completed by American Tank Restoration in October 2016.
