[ARCHIVED] Change in garbage can requirements - Removal from right-of-way

Garbage containers should be placed within 5 ft of the back of curb or edge of paved/graveled surface not more than 12 hours prior to the day of collection and shall be moved off of the right-of-way before the end of the day of collection.

On Nov. 14, 2017, the Commission approved a change in the City's laws with regards to garbage can requirements, based on a request from our citizens. Garbage containers should be placed within 5 ft of the back of curb or edge of paved/graveled surface not more than 12 hours prior to the day of collection and shall be moved off of the right-of-way before the end of the day of collection.
