[ARCHIVED] Perkins is the Half-Way Point for Land Run 100

1,800 bicycle race participants will be coming thru town on Sat., March 16. Downtown block party to celebrate their journey: 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. downtown. Local food and live music! Volunteers needed, too. Visit www.landrun100.com for more info.

Perkins, Oklahoma will serve as the halfway point for the Land Run 100 on March 16, a bicycle race throughout Payne County and beyond. Perkins will welcome 1,800 riders to town that day between 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. There will be a block party on Thomas St. downtown during that time, complete with live music and local food offerings to entertain the crowds. The Perkins community is encouraged to come down and show your support to these men and women competing. Let's show them what Perkins is all about!
