[ARCHIVED] Tree Debris Drop-Off Site Open

Perkins Tree Debris Site Map

A tree debris drop-off site has been established just west of the Perkins Cemetery, at the intersection of Industrial and Knipe. Drop off vegetation debris only. No trash, construction materials, etc. Click link for more info or call (405) 547-2445

From Main and Knipe, travel west approximately ½ of a mile to the site on the north side of Knipe Street. Signs will be posted today. This area is open to City of Perkins residents to drop off natural vegetation that was damaged during the storm. Trash, rubbish, construction materials, etc., will not be accepted at this site. A map showing the location and a suggested route is attached. The plan is for this site to be staffed from daylight to dark each day.

If you have questions or concerns about the cleanup, please contact City Hall at 547-2445 during normal business hours. It is our goal for this to go as smoothly as possible.

Residents will be responsible for unloading their debris. We have rented equipment and hired extra people to aid in the disaster cleanup. We will have a front-end loader at this site to push the brush up into a pile for burning. All burning will be supervised by staff and the Perkins Fire Department and will be done as conditions allow.
