The City of Perkins is accepting applications for a full-time Office Administrator/Customer Service Specialist. Reporting to the Finance Director/City Clerk and Court Clerk, the person in this position will be knowledgeable about and provide assistance to various departments including Municipal Court, Payroll, and the Utility Billing departments. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, providing exceptional customer service including answering the telephone, working the front counter, and handling monetary transactions; administrative duties such as recording of court information; preparation/filing of reports; entering data; collecting and organizing invoices; generating reports; and/or tracking payments; and other duties as assigned.

Hours & Wage: The Utility Billing Clerk is a full-time position working 40 hours per week; salary range is $31,200-$35,360 per year ($14.00-$17.00 per hour) based on experience. This position does not allow for a flexible work schedule. The hours are Monday thru Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. with an unpaid lunch break. Due to the nature of the job, there are days of the month when attendance is required.
All City of Perkins full-time staff are considered essential and may be required to report to work during emergency situations.
